samenvatting

Er wordt een korte beschrijving gegeven van neutropenieën en van afwijkingen in de granulocytenfunctie. Kwantitatieve stoornissen komen veel frequenter voor dan kwalitatieve. Dysfuncties kunnen zowel genetisch bepaald als verworven zijn. Ziektebeelden worden besproken en gerangschikt naar functiestoornis veroorzaakt door het defect. Gelokaliseerde defecten in uitsluitend monocyten of macrofagen zijn niet bekend.
