For Dutch-speaking researchers in the field of work and health the TBV journal offers an attractive podium for publishing their results. After all, the readers are their target group, at least when it concerns practice oriented research. In this issue the editors/editorial staff has/have given the podium to departing Professor of Work and Health Johan Groothoff. This Frisian man in Groningen ends the interview with a nice statement:‘Benefit providers would do well to stipulate in their conditions that a scientific project should always include a paper published in TBV’. Clinical occupational medicine is another subject that the interviewers would like to highlight. Professor Groothoff emphasizes the fact that the added value of this discipline has not yet been evaluated. In the mean time he does take the importance of a specialist approach to the factor work in the clinic for granted. …
