Over de ontwikkeling van Theory of Mind bij kinderen

Dit artikel beschrijft de ontwikkeling van Theory of Mind bij jonge kinderen en geeft een overzicht van onderzoek naar de ontwikkeling van Theory of Mind bij een aantal klinische groepen (o.a. Autisme, ADHD, en doofheid).
Vervolgens wordt ingegaan op de vraag welke waarde het Theory-of-Mind model heeft voor de klinische praktijk. Welke mogelijkheden zijn er om problemen op het gebied van Theory of Mind vast te stellen? En wat kun je doen wanneer de ontwikkeling van Theory of Mind niet optimaal verloopt?
