Samenvatting

Deze studie onderzocht de effectiviteit van een cognitieve gedragstherapie gericht op het kind (kind-CGT) in vergelijking met een CGT voor het hele gezin (gezins-CGT). Opmerkelijke resultaten werden gevonden: direct na de behandeling was kind-CGT effectiever dan gezins-CGT. Drie maanden na de therapie werd geen verschil meer gevonden tussen beide condities. Gezins-CGT bleek ook geen meerwaarde te hebben wanneer ouders een angststoornis hadden, en evenmin wanneer het jonge kinderen betrof. Gezins-CGT was niet kosteneffectieverdan kind-CGT.
