Samenvatting

Een 60-jarige vrouw presenteert zich na een val op de rechterhand op de afdeling Spoedeisende Hulp met een luxatie naar volair van de ulna in het distale radio-ulnaire (DRU-)gewricht. Deze zeldzame aandoening wordt vaak gemist. Gesloten repositie is beschreven tot zeven weken na trauma, door lokale druk en geforceerde pronatie onder lokale anesthesie. De nabehandeling bestaat uit zes weken bovenarmgips in pronatiestand. Het kan tot zes maanden duren voordat maximale supinatie wordt bereikt.
