Samenvatting

Overvloedige bronchiale slijmproductie (bronchorrhoea) komt in de palliatieve zorg nogal eens voor bij patiënten met adenocarcinomen van de longen. Het kan leiden tot infecties of ernstige benauwdheid. Medicamenten als opioïden of benzodiazepinen kunnen de situatie verergeren. Toch zijn er effectieve behandelingen mogelijk.
