This issue of the Journal includes a study of autism treatment implemented during the first year of life (Rogers et al.
2014). This work pilot tested a relatively short-term, low-intensity intervention with a group of infants already displaying symptoms of autism. At 36 months, the treatment groups exhibited lower rates of autism symptomatology and intellectual disability.
