Samenvatting

Drinken onder jongeren is lang niet altijd onschuldig, blijkt uit de andere artikelen in dit nummer. Waar de volksgezondheid in het geding is hoort de overheid in actie te komen, zo vinden velen. Maar wat kan de overheid doen? Welke maatregelen werken, dat wil zeggen, beperken alcoholproblematiek? Wij vatten hier samen wat daarover bekend is. Ook bespreken wij het feitelijke beleid in Nederland voor zover gericht op jongeren. Boodschap: de mate van drinken onder jongeren kan worden teruggedrongen.
