As of the table of contents and the first few pages of this incredible book, any reader can immediately notice that the group of dedicated people who authored and edited Adolescents and Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder took a deep look into the impact of autism as a diagnosis on domains that at times are forgotten. The book presented evidence for treatment and instruments availability like no other. Treatment has been researched by so many disciplines and was challenged in many places by various methodological issues. These research challenges were clarified in this book. The book also examined and presented the different transitions of adolescents as they move from high school to young adulthood. Clearly, a rough period from the various aspects related to transition, maturity and psychological development of the self. The book is complete with the most relevant and updated research data at the time of publication. Much of what I appreciated about the book was the manner in which it has also came to life in scenarios presented and weaved throughout the book. The methodical way of presenting complex information in the book created consistency which assist the reader sorting significant information. …
