Monteiro, Musten and Compson (
2014) have provided us a wonderful article summarizing some of the issues that have been discussed, formally and informally, in the Buddhist community for a number of years. Elsewhere, I have discussed some of these topics, including issues in interfacing Buddhism and Western psychology (Mikulas
2007) and significant common confusions surrounding the construct of mindfulness (Mikulas
