Driving a car does not give me much pleasure. I try to avoid it. This has caused my driving skills to deteriorate over the years. It concerns traffic participation as well as the operation of the machine. I trundle along the local roads with 40 miles an hour, wait for traffic lights that have long since changed to green, and remain in third or fourth gear for far too long. It would be advisable to take a few driving lessons. Driving a car now demands other competencies than when I received my driving licence 35 years ago. But I cannot be bothered with driving lessons and besides, who would oblige me to take them? I take a different approach. Based upon the criticisms that came my way I made a list of points to be improved. I will work on those during the next five years.
