In his book, “Seeing All Kids as Readers: A New Vision for Literacy in the Inclusive Early Childhood Classroom,” Christopher Kliewer compiles several years of grant funded, ethnographic research results. This is a persuasive book intended to inspire early childhood educators to expand their concept of literacy and promote children’s “literate citizenship” (Kliewer 2008, p. 86) within inclusive preschool classrooms.
