The concept of response shift (i.e., recalibration, reprioritization, or reconceptualization of health outcomes by patients [1]) holds significant implications for the accurate interpretation of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in clinical research and practice [2]. Recognizing its importance, the Response-Shift Special Interest Group (SIG) of the International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL) conducted a series of structured discussions aimed at advancing the integration of response-shift assessment into clinical workflows. These efforts built upon the foundational discussions held during the Prague 2022 Response-Shift SIG meeting and follow-up meetings to foster multidisciplinary collaboration. …
