Samenvatting

Het onderzoek naar de kosten van psychotherapie is een relatief onontgonnen gebied. Intuïtief lijken de kosten van psychotherapie misschien minder relevant dan bijvoorbeeld die van een grote chirurgische ingreep, waarmee dure apparatuur en veel personeel gemoeid zijn. Maar behalve aan de kosten van de interventie zelf, moet ook gedacht worden aan de kosten van de ziekte die ermee ‘genezen’ kan worden. Die zijn in de meeste gevallen aanzienlijk.

Het bedrag van € 90.457 is als volgt berekend: (€ 47.009,92 – € 36.629,95)/(2,2663 – 2,1516). De kosten van ST zijn hier lager dan eerder uiteengezet, omdat voor de berekening van de kosten per QALY één patiënt uit de analyse is verwijderd wegens volledig ontbreken van alle EQ-5D-gegevens. Het bedrag van € 37.994 voor ST zoals eerder genoemd is wel gebruikt voor de berekening van de kosten per herstelde patiënt.
